My Personal Journey to Become a Wellness & Health Coach
I’m so thrilled you’ve come this extra mile and I hope this is just the beginning of an amazing journey towards a healthier, happier and more energized life. I want to help you achieve your goals using my life experience and training in wellness, holistic nutrition and mindfulness.
I am all about making a “healthy, happy and whole” way of life. As a mom of a kid, I know how much energy we need in order to keep up with our kids’ pace, daily routines, work and our personal needs. To me, every person needs to have a well-balanced life in order to be the best person possible to their children, families, friends and to be a positive contributor to a better world.
The blessing of becoming a Wellness Catalyst for myself first with the purpose of creating positive impact in others makes my life more enriched and it keeps me learning continuously about health, nutrition and positive thinking. I can now help many moms, parents and caregivers on how to promote healthier and happier lifestyles, more tips and ideas on how to buy and cook the healthiest meals while making their wellness and empowerment experience joyful and fun through simple techniques and strategies. Being a Wellness & Health Coach has been a great gift to my daughter and myself. We enjoy living happier, whole and healthier. We love enjoying living in a clean environment, utilizing non-toxic products, eating real food new and enjoying a mindful lifestyle.
Living a blooming and healthy life is the way to achieve wholeness and balance, this way of living is more than fad dieting, taking vitamins or protein shakes or simply looking for the next trendy treatment to do to our bodies. Wellness is a lifestyle choice, which fills your life with positive thoughts, whole and nutritious foods, clean environment and personal care products. Living in a more natural way is the best medicine, health insurance and way to feel and look fabulous.
As a holistic health coach my purpose is to inspire you to notice the association between what you put into your body, what you think, how you live and how you look and feel, and of course, to help you fall in love with yourself, with healthy lifestyle patterns so that you can realize the benefits of a better health. By seeing ourselves as a whole, nourishing our bodies with whole foods, removing toxins and addictive substances, and managing stress, we are taking wise steps to prevent the underlying causes of many physical and emotional illnesses prevalent among adults and children, such as early obesity, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, fatigue and even mental illnesses such as Attention Deficit Disorder, depression and anxiety.
The goal of my Blooming Health & Wellness program, is to guide you on how to make wiser choices about how you live, think and eat, in order to achieve optimal health, happiness and wholeness which last over time.
I come from a country which is blessed with very beautiful women, Venezuela. Many people in my country, especially women, pay strong attention to the physical health of people. I did tons of diet programs during my 20’s, I was very strict with my fitness and workout routines. I was always fascinated with working out at gyms, mountain climbing, dancing, jogging, and kickboxing in order to keep myself in shape consistently. What I didn’t realize is that I also became addicted to physical beauty which made me make uneducated decisions back then. When I was very young I had the brilliant idea of getting breast implants, I didn’t research about it, I simply did it because everyone else was doing it, so I assumed that was completely safe and “normal” for me to do as well…anyways, I lived in a society which promoted physical beauty and I didn’t want to stay behind. I also NEEDED to be the most “BEAUTIFUL” version of myself!!!
As time went by and after I moved to the US, I started feeling differently, and I thought that age didn’t come without an effect and that my overall health decline was the result of me not being on my early 20’s anymore. I had suffered all my life from digestive issues, which I noticed were starting to get worse, then I started developing sleeping disorders, which negatively impacted my whole life. Lack of energy, motivation and low self-esteem started to be part of me. After seeing doctor after doctor, getting all types of different diagnosis and being prescribed tons of strong medications, which had no effect into my whole well-being besides their side effects, I decided it was about time to take a different approach to my health situation. Honestly, I was frustrated and I couldn’t take on any more of those prescriptions which were making me more ill and healing none of my symptoms.
It was obvious to me that I had to take charge of my own healing process, since I was not where I wanted to be body, mind and soul wise. For this reason, I decided to take control of who I wanted to become. The first thing I did was to get a Health related certification, I wanted to understand better how I could implement a healthier and cleaner way of living and I wanted to understand whether or not I was eating or doing something wrong. I became a Certified Health Coach by William Sears Institute and a Holistic Nutritionist by the American Fitness Professionals Association. I put everything into practice, I was so excited because finally I was sure my health issues would disappear. But on the contrary, nothing changed, I still felt sicker, more fatigued, and feeling like getting a cold every other week…seriously? There was a point in which I was literally desperate, I didn’t know what else to do.
Then one day after a lot of trial and errors, visits to at least one hundred doctors, a lot of wondering and even fear, a voice inside of me asked me: how about your breast implants? Could they be related to your symptoms? I was in deep shock and stress because I couldn’t even imagine what to do if this was the case. I still was in denial, I still tried to find other reasons for a while, but the truth is that those other reasons never happened….I couldn’t find a scientific explanation to my health issues and I couldn’t find help in doctors, holistic practitioners neither could help myself by practicing the cleanest diet in the planet. Then out of curiosity, one day I googled: sick women with breast implants….I could not believe what I was seeing! There it was, maybe my answer after being so sick for years??? A full community of thousands and thousands of women all saying they were feeling sick, all talking about the SAME CRAZY SYMPTOMS…really? Coincidence or NOT, the one common aspect among those women was all of them had BREAST IMPLANTS.
I was not going to take the risk of waiting another five more years to see if I could finally feel better or maybe just get worse and worse as I had been the last few years. I was a single mom, I couldn’t keep on risking my health not only because is really awful not to FEEL HEALTHY but because my daughter was and still is my most precious gift from God in this world. She deserved a healthy mom and I deserved to feel well and to be happy.
EXPLANTING was one of the most important decisions I have made in my whole life. I would say that after you experience the symptoms of Breast Implant Illness (BII) for years, you even start doubting yourself, you start lacking confidence because everyone told you it was all in your head, BII not only damages your health but also your mind to the point you feel you are losing it. Please understand this is my personal opinion given my life experience and how my health deteriorated, I do believe that Breast Implant Illness is real. Not only it has affected thousands of women around the globe, it has killed many and it is still affecting thousands as we speak. Even though there is little research about this topic, a woman with Breast Implant Illness doesn’t need to BELIEVE anything, doesn’t need you to explain her further after she has come to the realization that her implants are making her sick.
I removed my breast implant on April 8th 2019. It was a very long recovery journey, I can’t even explain you how painful it was for me, and I’m honest, yes it is hard to see yourself in the mirror for the first time, yes it is hard to recover, yes it is difficult to detox and yes it is a difficult journey for many women to be able to regain health because I strongly believe that Breast Implant Illness is a serious set of symptoms that so many times can even end up in an autoimmune disorder because simply, there is much damage our body can take.
After all I experienced, not only I decided to become a Wellness & Breast Implant Illness advocate but I also decided my personal coaching practice would ALSO provide support to women suffering from BII. I did a lot of research, I had the best medical doctors supporting my healing journey (I have to be honest, It took me a while to find them) I implemented so many changes into my own lifestyle, and I understood that all the external factors that were affecting me and all the new sensitivities I was experiencing had all a major common root: a weakened immune system. Over the last year I have devotedly continued making small changes that started having significant impact on the way I felt. I started living a cleaner and more fuller life, which had impressive benefits into my well-being and was my inspiration to learn more about health, nutrition and ways to help myself and others to become the empowered and self-confident woman everyone deserves to be. All the positive shifts I had incorporated into my life made me realize I was even more passionate about wellness than ever and inspired me to take a new path to a “New Me” as a Wellness Catalyst for those women like you needing a honest person who could really understand them. I know for a fact that you can talk to a woman with no health issues about your health issues and yes, they will be compassionate towards your pain, but they would never be able to understand you as a fellow Breast Implant illness warrior would do.
This transformational process empowered me to overcome many difficult processes I experienced in the past and motivated me to become more confident, happier and healthier. It was clear to me that achieving first inner mind and body balance, was one of the most important factors in order to create the space for my body transformational process to happen. Losing weight and achieving beauty internally and externally were simply the effect of me giving my body permission to heal.
Seeing a positive impact into my own wellness and life is what inspires me today to help other people who are going through difficult times. People who would like to achieve higher levels of wellness, happiness with a high sense of inner peace and well-being.
I strongly believe that every individual can achieve anything they can imagine and can choose to lead a mindfully and healthy life.
